Project Proposal (15%)
As the final project for this course requires that you work independently to create a “non-epistemological” demonstration of your knowledge – this assignment requires that you submit a proposal describing your final project.
Use the headers provided below, this is not an essay, it is a project proposal. You might think of it as a grant proposal (you might find the following resource helpful in developing your proposal: https://creative-capital.org/online-resources/)
The project proposal must include:
- Project Title: A short creative and engaging title which could either describe the content or be relevant to the meaning of your creative work. Think of something that will capture peoples’ attention & helps to describe the project. (1 mark)
- Your thesis title and topic
- Project format and description: One to two paragraphs describing what you intend to create and why. In this section you will also identify the creative process and final medium or format. (Collective development and recorded performance of a rap) (4 marks)
- Project Partners: Identify all partners if this is to be a project in collaboration with an agency, or with young people or if this is to be a group project. Permission in writing must be attached with your proposal along with a template for a release form should film, photo or video production be involved. If you are doing this by yourself, please write: “This will be done on my own.” (I mark)
- Project Budget: Identify and propose a budget for the project and identify possible sources of revenue or funding. Use a proper budget format to do this question. - Project Connections to CYC Relational Practice: A specific statement (1-2 paragraphs) discussion the connections between the creation of this work, the course, and your thesis learning. Please include CYC theory (with citations and references), readings from the semester (with citations and references), and links to practice. (4 marks)
- Reference page, done in proper APA 7thedition formatting. (2 marks)
