Learning Goal: I’m working on a writing multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

  1. Rough Outline to follow for Final Essay (Paper)

TITLE

    1. Include how the intersections of identities play out
    2. In the phenomena I chose, gender accomplishes ____.

we make gender, we do not uncover it

we are not looking at gender as a static identity, as something we are born with and possess throughout our lives

gendering is done to us, it links us to institutions, but we do it to each other and to ourselves
