Learning Goal: I’m working on a writing question and need a sample draft to help me learn.
The purpose of this activity is to encourage each student to do a self assessment on his/her progress , to date, in each of my courses. Some students have a specific grade goal in mind, while others merely want to pass the course. Regardless, I encourage you to take stock of how you are doing while it may still be possible to close the gap between how you are, in fact, doing , and how you would like to end up and to then ,reduce the issues if our seeing your overall performance through different lenses. This exercise requires that you take an honest and hard look at your performance to date in all dimensions of the course, in relation to all the course’s requirements and expectations. Let’s consider some of the primary dimensions to consider, such as those, below, and any others you should consider.
- Examinations: readiness, grades, daily preparation processes, etc.;
- Assignments: comprehension, research, preparation, thoroughness, appropriateness, relevance, timeliness supplements, value added, value gained, etc.;
