1. Explain the concept of regional analysis. How might you calculate a location quotient to analyse the industrial structure of a country? In your answer, include details of the data sets (the source of the data, which variables to take into account) you could potentially use to do this. (350 words, 50 marks)

Use the xls* provided and, produce a table that summarises the average “rateable value of office floorspace” in town centres in 2019 for each region. The table should include the mean and standard deviation of town centre values as summary statistics.
